Danny Going Away - Another Depression Forming (8/24/2015 - 8:30am)

As of 6:30am Central Time, Danny was a Tropical Depression.  Over the next couple of days, it is expected to either dissipate completely or become a remnant low pressure system.

In other tropical news, a low pressure area about 1200 miles East of the Lesser Antilles is expected to become a tropical depression later today or tonoght.  This system, if it continues to stregthen and organize, would become Erika.  Expect to be getting emails about her through the course of the next week or two.

Behind that is another tropical wave which is just off the West coast of Africa near the Cape Verde Islands.  At present, they say that conditions are not favorable for development, so they give it only a 10% chance of tropical cyclone development in the next 5 days.
